I bought this because I needed a very small subwoofer for the very small trunk in my convertible (BMW Z3). I installed it about a week ago and I'm very impressed with the sound. People who hear the system are surprised that I'm only running a single 8" sub. It's powered by a 600 watt mono sub amp. I'm not trying to win an audio competition or set off alarms as I roll by. Instead, I wanted something to boost my low end and give tight kick when needed. This box delivers! The box was a little lighter than I expected, which I didn't mind during the installation, and there's a very tiny bit of rattle coming from the box, which may be due to loose internal cables, but it's not audible from outside the trunk so I haven't bothered to investigate further. Even with the rattle, I'm giving it five stars due to the great performance, ease of install, and low price.
